If the initiative is successful, for the first time, the job seekers do not need to leave their original places or migrate to other cities for employment.
The Ministry of Labor and Employment is developing a system where job seekers will get options for filtering employment through location, area, employer, salary category, necessary skills and other properties, a government source told ANI.
The department is mapping the job data on Prime Minister Gatti Shakti Portal. The National Career Service (NCS) Portal of the Ministry effectively aligns the demand and supply of the job market – connecting the employers and the employer’s searching as digital marketplaces.
Currently, LAHH lakh employers are registered on the platform and are listed more than one crore potential jobs. In the financial year 2024-2025, approximately 2.7 crore job vacancies have been posted.
By combining the Prime Minister Gatti Shakti in the NCS portal, these employment opportunities can be geographical. A dedicated mobile app youth is 20-40 km. Will enable to find a nearby job opportunity in the radius. App will allow filtering through multiple criteria, who prefer young people to stay close to their hometown that can easily find the right jobs. This system, especially for the first time, has a job looking for GEs, with limited skills, and those who are not yet extremely employable, which can make the rest of their own community. The Ministry is actively working to integrate NCS job data with the Prime Minister’s platform. Jammu and Kashmir and Gujarat have already made progress in this direction, sources in the government told ANI. The Ministry has launched a discussion with the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Gionformatics (BISAG) since last year.
The ministry is involved under the Onboarding and Geographical -Tagging establishments on the Prime Minister Gatha Shakti Platform under the Prime Minister Gatha Shakti platform under two major social security weapons – employees’ Provident Funds (EPFOs) and Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).
51 and 104 ESIS hospitals under EPFO, ESIC are now mapted as data layers on PMGS platform.
This visibility helps evaluate and plan multimedal connectivity infrastructure such as roads and railways. These levels will help EPFO and ESIC to evaluate the current and future project requirements.
In addition, the 268 Special Economic Zone (SEZ) survey, known by the Prime Minister Gatti Shakti Platform, is being checked to increase social security coverage to large employees.
The Ministry plans to enhance the engagement of PMGS platform by onboarding on other plans that are dedicated to NCS Center – especially different -consistency to promote unanimous development. This initiative has supported the poorest and most neglected sections of the society, which aligning the commitment for the justified growth of India.
Launched in 2, Prime Minister Gatti Shakti shows a variable approach for economic growth and durable development. Supported by clean energy and Sabka Priyas (everyone’s efforts), it has the ability to create important jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities for all.
