BIS to offer internships for 500 students from partner organizations

 

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on Tuesday announced internship opportunities for 500 students from their partner organizations in the field of standardization. The announcement was made at the annual session of BIS standardization chairs and nodal faculty of the recent MOU partner organizations.An official statement states that the four -year degree course, five -year integrated degree course, postgraduate degree and students admitted to the diploma program will be given internship.

The eight -week internship includes the CUCO (Quality Control Order) compliance survey in collaboration with BIS offices and site visits to a large number of units, MSMEs and laboratories.

Students will study in detail on the production and testing process, raw materials, process controls and quality of products and other matters.
