The Ministry has called for all the zones to improve all the vacancies in all 51 categories and upload to the online system on the advice of Railway Recruitment Board Chairman (RRB), Bangalore.
The ministry said that the nodal RRB will integrate the indents placed by the Railway/PU (product units) and issued a centralized employment notification.
According to officials officials, vacant posts in different categories are higher than the current initiative of the Ministry.
This step, however, will help reduce the pressure, he said. The decision has been welcomed by the Indian Railway ST ND Tea Mennerers Signal and Telecom Union (IRSTMU) and called it the right movement in the safety of rail operations. Earlier, the team wrote to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnna and requested to fill the vacancies of the Signal and Telecom Department in all categories of group C to strengthen the ST ND Tea maintenance activities. “The last recruitment in the signal and telecom department was done in 2017 and thousands of posts have been vacant for eight years. Therefore, the Railway Recruitment Board should be instructed to complete the recruitment process as soon as possible,” Alok Chandra Prakash, General Secretary of Estumu, said in his letter on June June.
Due to the burden of work on the power of the existing employees, the publication of the recent decision of the Ministry of Recruitment of ST ND T employees on a contractual basis was opposed.
He argued that SD T work is important for safe rail operations, and allowing contract employees to become familiar with significant security operations in the future.
